Next Steps

So you have a taste for paddling and you want to improve your skills?

If you want to continue your journey into the world of paddlesports with Ribble Canoe Club the next steps are to join the club as a member and sign up for a Discover award.

Membership with the club brings many benefits :
 

• British Canoeing membership
• Access to all of the club equipment ¹
• Access to club trips ²
• Access to pool sessions

The next discover award session is on the 10th of April 2024 and is open for bookings now!

We hope that you will join the club and continue your development however if you're not ready to make that decision yet please remember that we meet at the Hand and Dagger on Wednesdays at 6.30pm and you're more than welcome to come down and have a chat to us before making any decision.


 

¹ Certain equipment such as paddleboards will only be lent out after some skills (such as rescues) have been demonstrated.
² Club trips require completion of a discover course or for you to display competent paddling in an appropriate environment
